We tune and re-orient the body and senses towards availability and playfulness through group and solo dynamics.
The principles of gravity, gaze and gut guide the work – exploring the dialogues between the visceral and proprioceptive systems.
We depart from the fall in multiple directions, as a state to move and be moved from.
The diverse movement pathways, games and exercises shared in the workshop take us beyond our habitual patterns, discovering a shared, rooted and personal movement vocabulary.
Through inclinations and ellipses as physical, philosophical and aesthetic tools, we incite and are provoked by the body, the human and the non-human. Inclinations and ellipses are related to the permeable, the perceptive, intuitive and impulsive. We are interested in inhabiting and triggering diverse corporealities and states by both structuring and destabilizing patterns, pathways and habits. We explore our unstable existence, through tuning and risk taking. A recognition of existing together through uncertainty and becomings. To move and sustain – rescue and recycle – a sense of self and community on a groundless ground.
It has been essential for us to connect with local artistic platforms, in order to establish multi-way exchanges, and long-lasting collaborations with artists and curators from around the world, mostly working between Europe and Latin America. We are in a continuous dialogue with local communities, in parallel with the artistic residencies they have carried out in Brazil, Spain, Russia & Denmark over the last several years. This has created the possibility for a shared artistic trajectory that transitions between a multiplicity of formats, from laboratories, workshops and installations to site-specific work and staged dance pieces.
