Dancer, choreographer, artist-curator and teacher. French-Danish, born in Christiania, Denmark in 1990, and since 2012 living in Sweden, Argentina, France and Spain. Manon is currently studying at the MFA in Choreography at DDSKS (DK). She graduated with a BA in Dance Performance from DOCH – Uniarts (SE) in 2015, including an exchange at Institut del Teatre (ES).
In her work Manon connects dancing, culture and language – speaking 7 of them. Her starting point being the body and the research of availability, sensibility and transparency, permeated by a vital curiosity and passion for movement. She is perpetually intrigued by the pertinent relation between the internal and external, and continuously committed to exploring the infinity of body and space.
Manon started the company DuqLav Dance together with Dasha Lavrennikov (RU/US) in 2017, connecting transnational research, artist-engagement, teaching, creation and performance. She is co-founder, artist-curator and choreographer of the Copenhagen based feminist performative platform Project V (DK) as well as host and founder of the newly opened Sala Sabil space together with Borja Llorente (ES) in Asturias, Spain.
In Denmark Manon worked with Public Sphere/Andreas Liebmann (CH), KIT (Metropolis, NyCirkus Festival, Move it!), Dansehallerne and as assistant choreographer for Kitt Johnson (DK). Internationally she has been researching with Lucas Condró (AR) since 2015, improvising in performance with musician Ignacio Córdoba (ES) since 2019, and furthermore had the pleasure to work with and perform for Sara Shelton Mann (US), Elena Córdoba (ES), Jefta Van Dinter (NL/SE), Cristian Duarte (BR), Paz Rojo (ES), Diego Agulló (ES/DE), and Mette Ingvartsen (DK) amongst others.
